For the first time, Mongolia is measuring air quality in 90 locations

Citizens can now see and know the level and quality of air pollution that affects their health more accurately from multiple locations every day on their mobile phones.

“High Payment Solutions” LLC started installing 55 smart air pollution measuring devices throughout the country in 2022 as part of social responsibility.

The device measures air pollution with a total of seven parameters. It includes:

  • 3 types of particles; PM1.0; PM2.5; PM10
  • Sulfur dioxide SO2;
  • Nitrogen dioxide NO2;
  • Carbon monoxide CO;
  • Ozone O3 indicators included

It also displays air temperature, pressure, humidity, and wind speed

People can get information about the air quality and the locations of the devices through the “HiPay” application. Moreover, the air quality index is included in accordance with world standards, with Mongolian explanations, in a simple and understandable way.

In addition, the data of 40 air quality monitoring stations operating nationwide has been combined, so citizens can receive air quality data from a total of 90 locations and their surroundings in a unified manner.

This device is manufactured by “Airly” company operating in Krakow, Poland, and “High Payment Solutions” LLC is the first official partner organization in Mongolia.

Airly” company has received many awards such as the award named after the President of Poland, the quality certificate of the air pollution measuring device of the United States and the European Union, and the first place in the best innovation category of “CSR AWARDS 2020” in Romania for this smart, multi-indicator, energy-saving device. and the device has been installed in more than 50 countries of the world.

We are donating this smart air pollution measuring device for two main purposes

First of all, citizens will be able to receive information such as where air pollution is high and low, at what time of day it is more polluted, and will be able to decide whether to wear a mask, close the window, or whether children and the elderly should go outside.

On the other hand, the government, NGOs, scientists and researchers will have a basic information database for conducting extensive research on air quality issues

This is because some of the 40 stationary guards installed by the government and the private sector are not fully functional and cannot cover a wide area.

“High Payment Solutions” LLC intends to increase the number of air quality indicators and install 250-300 units nationwide.

It is also planned to carry out impact work such as organizing academic conferences in the framework of air pollution and quality issues and solutions every year.
