In August 2021, “Digital Vending” LLC, a subsidiary of Mongolian Fintech Group, introduced the Powerbank service that can be rented and carried for the first time in Mongolia.
It follows the foot steps of “Shared economy” model that is spreading around the world.
In particular, it is a form of supporting the sharing of services through a common platform using digital technology. It has become a service that meets the goals of sustainable development of the United Nations.
If your mobile phone runs out of power somewhere, you can rent this Powerbank without asking anyone for a charger and return it to any place near you. “Hi-Charge” service of Powerbank is working in more than 300 locations of Ulaanbaatar city.
To become a Hi-Charge user, download the Hipay application from the App Store and Play store of your mobile phone and register. After that, go to the “Hi-Charge” menu in the app and scan the QR code on the face of the charging machines located throughout Ulaanbaatar to get a fully charged Powerbank service.
Powerbank has a capacity of 5000mAh and has three types of input: Android, Type C and Apple charger. Therefore, it is possible to charge any type of smartphone or tablet.
