In this context, in 2021, in cooperation with “Eco cash” LLC, “Reverse vending machine” or RVM recycling started to be installed in Mongolia.

People give their recycled water and beverage plastic bottles to the RVM located in shopping and service centers, and the payment is transferred to the user’s HIPAY wallet. The machine takes one plastic bottle for 20 MNT.

36 units of RVM have been installed in the capital Ulaanbaatar, Darkhan and Arkhangai provinces.

This project has many benefits, such as reducing environmental pollution, reducing the negative impact of waste that spreads through the air and seeps into the soil, and solves the problem of waste management through technology.
